ALRESFORD Town fell to a 4-1 defeat at home to Sholing in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division on Saturday afternoon.

Dan Miller gave the visitors the lead in the 45th minute, and Pete Castle made it 2-0 to Sholing on 52 minutes.

Tom Richards pulled a goal back for the Magpies in the 63rd minute, but Dan Mason scored on 68 minutes. Mason made it 4-1 in the 79th minute.
