Alresford Town 1 Cadbury Heath 3: ALRESFORD Town’s brave run in the FA Cup came to an end on Saturday with a 3-1 defeat at home to Western League Premier Division outfit Cadbury Heath in the second qualifying round.

Cadbury Heath took the lead in the seventh minute when Matt Huxley smashed the ball home. The visitors doubled their advantage on 15 minutes when Simon McElroy scored from a tight angle. Huxley made it 3-0 to the visitors in the 20th minute as he claimed his second goal of the match with an impressive strike.
Alresford were 3-0 down at half time, but they managed to give themselves a lifeline early in the second half when Tom Sands pulled a goal back.
The Magpies were unable to find another goal though as their impressive FA Cup run came to an end.
