THERE is plenty of football action to enjoy if you are watching any of East Hampshire’s Sydenham Wessex League clubs this week.

In the Wessex League there is a full programme of league action this coming Saturday.

In the Premier Division, eighth-placed Horndean are at home again when they host Fareham Town, who are 14th, at Five Heads Park.

Alresford Town will be heading south to take on Team Solent, who are currently 17th in the Premier Division table.

Bottom side Petersfield Town will be looking for points at home when they host Brockenhurst, who are 18th.

Next Tuesday night (January 23), Alresford face a huge derby encounter with Southern League neighbours Winchester City in the quarter finals of the Hampshire Senior Cup.
