LISS Athletic are in fourth place in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after a thrilling 4-3 win at Paulsgrove on Saturday.

Liss went ahead in the 25th minute through Lenny Burney’s goal, and Alex Miroy doubled the lead on 35 minutes. Josh Parry pulled a goal back for Paulsgrove in the 57th minute, but Burney scored his second of the day on 60 minutes to put Liss 3-1 ahead.

Bobby Scott scored for the hosts in the 71st minute, but Grant Dove’s 83rd minute goal put Liss 4-2 ahead. Parry scored his second on 88 minutes, but Liss held on for the win.
