PETERSFIELD Town have revealed their plans for the future redevelopment of the Love Lane Stadium.
Club officials are looking at everything from levelling the infamous slope on the pitch through to an exciting link up with plans for a new community building next to the stadium site.
Phase one of the redevelopment project includes the ongoing refurbishment of the current clubhouse building to ensure it is fit for purpose for the next decade.
All systems and facilities are being checked and will be refurbished or replaced where necessary.
In the coming months it is also hoped spectators will see some changes in the stadium. Plans are being put in place for new perimeter fencing around the stadium and it is also hoped new standing and seating accommodation will be unveiled.
Phase two could go ahead as early as next summer. This involves levelling the playing surface as a minimum but talks are ongoing with potential partners to install a 3G/4G surface.
Talks are also continuing over the club creating new facilities in a community centre being planned for Love Lane. In the area closest to the car park end of the stadium plans are being drawn up for changing rooms, club offices, clubhouse and boardroom facilities as part of that development.
Chairman Graeme Moir said: “Our aim is to develop a facility which could host National League football in the future.”
