HORNDEAN manager Michael Birmingham was pleased with his side’s performance in their 1-0 victory at Hamble Club on Saturday.
Harry Jackson’s first-half goal gave the Deans the three points, although Birmingham felt his side could have been more clinical.
He said: “It was a good three points against a very strong side.
“We had more than enough chances in the first half to finish the game off.
“Hamble had a ten-minute spell in the second half, which they were always going to have, but we controlled the rest of the game.”
