TWO KEY Petersfield Town players have signed registration forms to remain at the club ahead of the new campaign.
Jordan Geddes and Ryan Kennedy have both signed to stay at Love Lane.
Petersfield manager Mark Summerhill is delighted the pair are staying at the club.
“Jordan was excellent at centre-back last season and it’s great news he’s signed a new deal,” said Summerhill.
“Ryan is a really talented footballer who has been unlucky with injuries.
“If we get a full season from Ryan it will be like a new signing.
“When Ryan was injured he came to home and away games. The fans love him.
“He is a battling, gutsy footballer who leaves nothing on the pitch and gives everything.”
Petersfield have also confirmed that Sean Burton is joining the club.
Burton can play at either full-back or centre-half, and Summerhill is pleased to have finally got his man.
Summerhill said: “Sean Burton played for Alton a few years ago and played against Charlie Austin when Charlie was at Poole.
“Sean is a good experienced guy.
“He’s also played for me at Liphook and he’s a really good addition to the squad.
“He had last season off but he wants to play for me.
“Sean has good Wessex League experience and I’ve tried to get him a few times before now.
“He has a good footballing brain.”
