EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy Saturday of fixtures.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, high-flying Horndean will host fellow high-fliers AFC Portchester at Five Heads Park (3pm), while lowly Alresford Town face a tough trip to the Gang Warily Community Centre to face Blackfield and Langley (3pm).

The Magpies crashed to a comprehensive 5-0 defeat against Blackfield and Langley at Arlebury Park in the FA Vase on September 5.

In the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, high-flying Liss Athletic will travel to the Shell Mex Ground to face league leaders Hamble Club (2pm).

Mid-table Clanfield will host Paulsgrove at Peel Park (2pm), and Liphook United will host high-flying Baffins Milton Rovers at The Recreation Ground (2pm).

Liss lost 3-0 at home to Hamble Club on August 1, Clanfield lost 4-1 at Paulsgrove on August 29, and Liphook lost 3-0 at Baffins Milton Rovers on August 4.

Liphook did win 2-0 at Baffins Milton Rovers in the Hampshire Intermediate Cup on November 14.

In Division 1 of the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League, lowly AFC Petersfield will host Four Marks at Love Lane (2pm).

In the quarter finals of the Puma Engineering Combination Cup, Liss Athletic Reserves will host Otterbourne Reserves at the Newman Collard Playing Fields (1.30pm).

The tie was due to be played at Otterbourne on the last two Saturdays, but on both occasions the match has been postponed.
