EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy Saturday of fixtures.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, high-flying Horndean are scheduled to host Sholing at Five Heads Park (3pm), while lowly Alresford Town will travel to Test Park to face Team Solent (3pm).

The Deans lost 2-0 at Sholing on October 24, while the Magpies drew 3-3 against Team Solent at Arlebury Park on September 8.

In the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, high-flying Liss Athletic will make the short trip to The Recreation Ground to face local rivals Liphook United (2pm).

Clanfield will travel to DARA Fleetlands to face mid-table Fleetlands (2pm).

Liss beat Liphook 4-2 at the Newman Collard Playing Fields on August 26, while Clanfield drew 2-2 at home to Fleetlands on August 5.

Liss Athletic manager Rich Bessey is expecting a tough game against Liphook.

“It’s a local derby so we need to be at it,” said Bessey.

“We will have some more players back, so I will have some selection headaches.”

In Division 1 of the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League, lowly AFC Petersfield are scheduled to host high-flying Broughton at Love Lane (2pm).

In the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Combination Division East, high-flying Liss Athletic Reserves are scheduled to host lowly AFC Petersfield Reserves at the Newman Collard Playing Fields (3pm).

Liss Athletic Reserves won 2-1 at AFC Petersfield Reserves on August 29.
