EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy day of fixtures on Saturday.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, sixth-placed Horndean will entertain fourth-placed Hamworthy United at Five Heads Park (3pm), while 11th-placed Alresford Town are on the road and will travel to 20th-placed Bemerton Heath Harlequins (3pm).

In the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, fifth-placed Liphook United are on the road and will travel to Colden Common Park to face 16th-placed Colden Common (3pm).

In the first round of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup, Clanfield are on the road and will travel to Warsash Wasps (2pm), AFC Petersfield will entertain Wey Valley (2pm), and Liss Athletic are on the road and will travel to AFC Burton (2pm).

Horndean are also in action in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division next Tuesday night (October 10), when they will travel to St George’s Park to face Newport IOW (7.45pm).

Alresford Town are also in action next Wednesday night (October 11), when they will entertain Fareham Town at Arlebury Park (7.45pm) in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.
