EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy day of fixtures on Saturday.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, Horndean will host Shaftesbury at Five Heads Park (3pm), while Alresford Town will travel to St George’s Park to face Newport IOW (3pm).

In the second round of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup, Clanfield will entertain Christchurch Reserves at Peel Park (2pm), Liphook United will travel to Stockbridge Recreation Ground to face Stockbridge (2pm), Liss Athletic will host Sholing Reserves at the Newman Collard Playing Fields (2pm), and AFC Petersfield will travel to Wide Lane to face Southampton University (2pm).

In the Combination Division of the Hampshire Premier League, fourth-placed Liphook United Reserves will host eighth-placed Hayling United Reserves at Liphook Recreation Ground (2pm), and fifth-placed Clanfield Reserves will travel to Marsden Road to face league leaders Paulsgrove Reserves (2pm).

Alresford Town are also in action next Wednesday night (November 8), when they will entertain Andover Town at Arlebury Park in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division (7.45pm).
