EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy day of fixtures on Saturday.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, sixth-placed Alresford Town will host 16th-placed Baffins Milton Rovers at Arlebury Park (3pm), while eighth-placed Horndean will travel to the Weyline Stadium to face Portland United (3pm).

The Magpies will be looking for revenge after losing 2-1 at Baffins in the reverse league fixture on August 15.

Alresford and Horndean will both be keen to return to action after being frustrated by the weather last Saturday.

Alresford’s trip to Team Solent and Horndean’s home game against Fareham Town were both postponed.

In the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, sixth-placed Liphook United will entertain 14th-placed Fleetlands at Liphook Recreation Ground (2pm), ninth-placed Clanfield will host league leaders Paulsgrove at Peel Park (2pm), and 12th-placed Liss Athletic will travel to Stockbridge Recreation Ground to face third-placed Stockbridge (2pm).

Liphook will be looking to complete the double after winning 6-1 at Fleetlands in the reverse league fixture on August 19, while Clanfield will be looking for revenge after losing 6-0 at Paulsgrove in the reverse league fixture on August 28.

In Division 1 of the Hampshire Premier League, sixth-placed AFC Petersfield will host seventh-placed Headley United at Love Lane (2pm).

AFC Petersfield will be keen to return to action after being frustrated by the weather last Saturday, when their match at home to Lyndhurst was postponed.
