EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy day of fixtures on Saturday.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, Alresford Town will entertain Bournemouth Poppies at Arlebury Park (3pm), while Horndean are on the road and will travel to Weyline Stadium to face Portland United (3pm).

The Magpies won 2-1 at Bournemouth in the reverse league fixture on December 13, while the Deans lost 3-1 at home to Portland on November 5.

In the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, third-placed Liphook United are on the road and will travel to Marsden Road to face eighth-placed Paulsgrove (3pm), sixth-placed Clanfield will travel to Overton Recreation Centre to face 13th-placed Overton United (3pm), and tenth-placed Liss Athletic will travel to 11th-placed Winchester Castle (3pm).

Clanfield won 5-0 at home to Overton in the reverse league fixture on August 6, while Liss lost 5-3 at home to Winchester Castle on September 3.

In Division 1 of the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League, bottom side AFC Petersfield will travel to Headley Playing Fields to face seventh-placed Headley United (3pm).
