EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy day of fixtures on Saturday, as a full programme of matches returns after a reduced fixture list over the Christmas period.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, lowly Alresford Town will host AFC Portchester at Arlebury Park (3pm), and high-flying Horndean will host mid-table Newport (IoW) at Five Heads Park (3pm).

The Magpies drew 1-1 at AFC Portchester on August 11, and the Deans drew 1-1 at Newport (IoW) on August 11.

In the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, high-flying Liss Athletic face a tough trip to Langstone Harbour Sports Ground to face Baffins Milton Rovers (2pm), and Liphook United will travel to Locks Heath Recreation Ground to take on Locks Heath (2pm).

Liphook won 2-1 at home to Locks Heath on August 1, while Liss lost 2-0 at home to Baffins Milton Rovers in the Portsmouth Senior Cup on November 25.

In Division 1 of the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League, lowly AFC Petersfield are scheduled to host Sway at Love Lane (2pm).

AFC Petersfield drew 1-1 at Sway on August 22 in the reverse league fixture.
