HORNDEAN manager Michael Birmingham is expecting a tough test when his side entertain second from bottom side Cowes Sports at Five Heads Park in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division on Saturday (3pm).
The Deans will be looking to complete the double after winning 6-1 at Cowes earlier in the season, but boss Michael Birmingham is expecting a difficult game.
“We’ve got to be at it as Cowes are a tough side to break down,” he said.
Horndean are also in action tomorrow (Thursday) night, when they travel to The Universal Stadium to face Sholing in the second round of the Russell Cotes Cup (7.45pm).
The Deans will also play next Tuesday night, when they will travel to the Victory Stadium to face United Services Portsmouth in a Portsmouth Senior Cup quarter final tie (7.45pm).
Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division leaders Alresford Town will be in action on Friday night, when they will travel to Barlows Park to face Tadley Calleva (7.45pm).
In the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division on Saturday, Liphook United will travel to Locks Heath (2pm) and Liss Athletic will host Winchester Castle at Newman Collard Playing Fields (3pm).
In Division One of the Hampshire Premier League on Saturday, AFC Petersfield will entertain Kingsclere at Love Lane (2pm).
Clanfield will be in action in the Hampshire Trophy on Saturday, when they’ll host Whiteley Wanderers at Peel Park in a fourth round tie (1.45pm).
