EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy week of fixtures.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, Horndean will face a tough test tomorrow (Tuesday), when they face league leaders Moneyfields at Moneyfields Sports Ground (3pm), while mid-table Alresford Town are in action on Wednesday, when they will entertain high-flying Sholing at Arlebury Park (7.45pm). Horndean lost 2-0 at home to Moneyfields on August 30, while Alresford earned an impressive 2-1 win at Sholing on August 30.

Alresford will also be in league action on Tuesday, January 3, when they will travel to Five Heads Park to face Horndean in a local derby (7.45pm). The two sides drew 1-1 at Arlebury Park on September 28.

In the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, sixth-placed Liss Athletic will host third-placed Liphook United at the Newman Collard Playing Fields in a local derby on Saturday (12pm), while fifth-placed Clanfield will entertain second-placed Hayling United at Peel Park on Saturday (12pm). Liss won 2-1 at Liphook on August 29, but Clanfield lost 3-2 at Hayling on September 17.
