EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy week of fixtures.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division on Friday, Alresford Town will entertain Hamble Club at Arlebury Park (7.45pm). The Magpies will be looking for revenge after losing 3-0 at Hamble on August 18.

Horndean will travel to The Sports Ground on Saturday to face Lymington Town in a Sydenhams Leagie Cup quarter-final tie (3pm), and Petersfield Town will host Verwood Town on Saturday in Division 1 of the Sydenhams Wessex League (3pm).

In the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division on Saturday, seventh-placed Liphook United will entertain 12th-placed Clanfield at Liphook Recreation Ground in an East Hampshire derby (2pm), while 11th-placed Liss Athletic will host eight-placed Overton United at the Newman Collard Playing Fields (2pm).

Liphook will be looking to complete the double after winning 2-0 at Clanfield in the reverse league game on August 8.

In Division 1 of the Hampshire Premier League on Saturday, bottom side AFC Petersfield will face a tough test when they travel to Wellands Road to face league leaders Lyndhurst (2pm).
