EAST Hampshire’s football teams face a busy day of fixtures on Saturday.

In the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division, Horndean will be hoping for bragging rights when they entertain local rivals AFC Portchester at Five Heads Park (3pm), while Alresford Town will travel to Baffins Milton Rovers (3pm).

The Deans will be looking to complete the double after winning 4-2 at Portchester in the reverse league fixture on October 30, while the Magpies won 5-2 at Baffins in the Hampshire Senior Cup on August 21.

In Division 1 of the Sydenhams Wessex League, Petersfield Town will travel to The Dell to face Laverstock and Ford (3pm). The Rams lost 3-1 at home to Laverstock and Ford on the opening day of the season.

In the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, Liphook United will host Stockbridge at Liphook Recreation Ground (2pm), Liss Athletic will entertain Sway at the Newman Collard Playing Fields (2pm) and Clanfield will host Paulsgrove at Peel Park (2pm).

Liphook drew 2-2 at Stockbridge in the reverse league fixture on November 17, Liss drew 1-1 at Sway on August 18, and Clanfield will be looking for better fortunes after crashing to a comprehensive 4-0 defeat at Paulsgrove on November 17.

In Division 1 of the Hampshire Premier League, AFC Petersfield will entertain Michelmersh and Timsbury at Love Lane (2pm).

Alresford Town are in action next Tuesday, January 15, when they will host Hythe and Dibden in a Southamption Senior Cup tie (7.45pm).
