CLANFIELD reached the next round of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup with an emphatic 4-0 victory against Team Solent Reserves on Saturday afternoon.

Clanfield took the lead in the tenth minute through Mike Newman’s goal, and Aaron Fennemore doubled the Peel Park outfit’s advantage on 22 minutes.

Elliot Sills made it 3-0 to the hosts in the 52nd minute and Newman scored his second and Clanfield’s fourth of the afternoon on 75 minutes.

Liphook United also progressed to the next round of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup with a comprehensive 5-1 victory at home to Winchester Castle Reserves on Saturday afternoon.

AFC Petersfield progressed to the next round of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup with a 4-2 win at Portsmouth Water on Saturday afternoon.

Carl Parker (2), Max Powell and Jarvis Balogun scored the goals for the visitors.

Petersfield Town Reserves exited the Hampshire Intermediate Cup with a 1-0 defeat at Overton United on Saturday afternoon.

Alex Spencer scored the winner for Overton in the 35th minute.

Horndean Hawks also exited the Hampshire Intermediate Cup on Saturday afternoon, after losing 3-1 at home to Netley Central Sports.

Alex White (2) and Ash Lovett scored the goals that sealed Netley’s place in the next round.
