CLANFIELD claimed the bragging rights with a 3-1 win at Liss Athletic in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division last Wednesday night.

Darren Ferguson gave the Peel Park outfit the lead in the 18th minute, but Josh Young’s equaliser on 35 minutes got Liss back on level terms.

Ferguson scored his second of the night in the 80th minute to put Clanfield back on front, and Elliot Sills sealed the three points for the visitors when he made it 3-1 on 85 minutes.

The defeat means Liss have finished in 12th place in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division, while the win ended Clanfield’s 11-match losing run.
