Clanfield 0 Hamble Club 0: CLANFIELD earned an impressive point against league leaders Hamble Club at Peel Park on Monday in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division.

The draw helped Liss Athletic, who weren’t in action this week but remain in second place in the league table.

Rich Bessey’s Liss trail Hamble Club by two points, but they have two games in hand.

The point leaves Clanfield in ninth place in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division table.

The Peel Park outfit have earned 23 points from their first 17 league games of the season, after winning six matches, drawing five and losing six matches.

Clanfield face another tough match on Saturday, when they are scheduled to travel to Oakwood Park to face high-flying Otterbourne (2pm).

Otterbourne are in third place in the league table, and they have earned 45 points from 18 league games this season.
