CLANFIELD returned to winning ways on Saturday with a 2-1 victory against Winchester Castle at Peel Park on Saturday in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division.

The visitors were on a six-match unbeaten run before the game, but Clanfield were up to the task to claim the win.

Jack Wiffen scored for Winchester Castle, but goals from Ollie Amos and Owen Milne were enough to give the home side the three points.

Clanfield are now in seventh place in the league table, and they have already picked up more points than they did in the whole of last season.
