CLANFIELD have reached the semi finals of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup after winning a penalty shoot-out at Hayling United in the quarter finals on Saturday.

Josh Hazell scored for the visitors in the 60th minute, and Greg Parker’s goal on 80 minutes meant the match finished 2-2.

The visitors then held their nerve to win 7-6 on penalties.

Clanfield will now host Liphook United, with the winner securing a place in the final.

The tie is scheduled to be played on Saturday, March 3.
