CLANFIELD are through to the semi finals of the Hampshire League Cup after winning 4-1 at home to Paulsgrove in the quarter finals on Saturday afternoon.

The home side took the lead at Peel Park through Darren Ferguson’s penalty in the 42nd minute.

Matt Kirby doubled Clanfield’s advantage on 48 minutes, and Kirby scored his second goal of the afternoon in the 68th minute to make it 3-0 to the home side.

Tommy Woodward pulled a goal back for the visitors on 72 minutes, but Elliot Sills scored in the 86th minute to make it 4-1 and seal Clanfield’s place in the last four of the competition.
