CLANFIELD are in third place in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League after slipping to a 2-1 defeat at Winchester Castle on Saturday afternoon.

The Peel Park outfit took the lead in the tenth minute through Mike Newman’s penalty, but Dave Philpott equalised for the home side on 41 minutes. Philpott then scored his second goal of the game in the 57th minute to give the hosts the three points.
