CLANFIELD got their Hampshire Premier League Senior Division campaign off to the perfect start with a 3-0 win at home to Overton United on Saturday afternoon.

Daniel Sharpe broke the deadlock for the Peel Park outfit in the 29th minute, and Harry Potter doubled the home side’s advantage on 38 minutes.

Clanfield had a comfortable 2-0 lead at half time, and Potter scored his second and the Peel Park outfit’s third goal of the afternoon in the 58th minute.

The three points leave Clanfield in fourth place in the league table.
