PETERSFIELD Town manager Andy Neal added two key people to his coaching team before declaring it’s time for the Rams’ recovery to get under way in earnest.

Liss Athletic duo Paul Marsh and Gary Lines arrived at Love Lane on Monday evening to help continue the rebuilding work needed to get the team back on track.

Marsh quit his role as Liss’ manager to become first team head coach in Neal’s new coaching set-up.

Lines has been appointed director of football and will concentrate his efforts initially on the recruitment of more players to build up the first team squad.

Neal, who has been appointed first team manager after initially taking the role on a caretaker basis when Ian Saunders left the club last month, is pleased to have his new recruits on board at Love Lane.

He said:?“On behalf of the club and all the players I would like to welcome Gary Lines and Paul Marsh.

“Both bring a considerable amount of football knowledge and the undoubted commitment which will enable our club to maintain its recent successes.”

Chairman Graeme Moir believes his manager has brought in two key people who will aid the club’s recovery process.

He added:?“I’m delighted Andy has some extra people now on his coaching staff who will be able to help him and take the club forwards.

“Paul and Gary will be able to come and ease some of the pressure on Andy.”
