Petersfield Ladies 8 Sholing Ladies 3: PETERSFIELD Ladies completed the league double over Sholing with an emphatic win.

They did not have it all their own way, as Sholing took a two-goal lead before Anderson reduced the deficit. The away side doubled their advantage, and Field were struggling to find any fluency to their game. However, with Arnold a real influence, Anderson completed her hat-trick, and Williams bagged another, to give Field a 4-3 lead at half time.

Field piled on the pressure in the second half. Sholing’s keeper was equal to a lot of Field’s attempts, including a penalty save, but she was eventually beaten with Anderson scoring a second half hat-trick and Searle completing the rout.
