ALRESFORD Town endured a mixed week with a cup win and league loss.
The Magpies started their week with a 1-0 win at home to Christchurch last Wednesday night in the first round of the Sydenhams League Cup.
Jamie Nash’s goal gave Alresford the win.
The Magpies then slipped to a 3-1 defeat at home to Portland United on Saturday afternoon in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.
