DENMEAD won 2-0 at Headley United in Division One of the Hampshire Premier League on Saturday.

Kieran Hammond broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 20th minute, and Danny Lucas doubled Denmead’s advantage on 48 minutes.

The three points leave Denmead in fifth place in the table.

Clanfield’s scheduled home match against Whiteley Wanderers in the fourth round of the Hampshire Trophy on Saturday was postponed.

Petersfield Town reserve team’s match against United Services Portsmouth Reserves in the Wyvern Combination Football League East Division on Saturday was also postponed.

The fourth-placed reserve team are scheduled to return to league action on Saturday with a trip to Barlows Park to face second-placed Tadley Calleva Reserves (3pm).
