ALRESFORD Town had a difficult week as they picked up one point from two matches in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.

The Magpies started their week with a 2-0 defeat at Tadley Calleva last Tuesday night.

Dan Vickers gave the hosts the lead in the 37th minute, and Sam Hamilton’s penalty on 90 minutes made it 2-0.

Alresford then drew 2-2 at home to Lymington Town on Saturday. Goals from Jack King and Ashley Jarvis gave the visitors a 2-0 lead, but George Farrelly pulled one back and Steve Hall scored Alresford’s equaliser.
