HORNDEAN had a tough week as they crashed to two defeats.

The Deans lost 4-1 at home to AFC Portchester in the third round of the Sydenhams League Cup last Tuesday night.

Tyler Moret scored for the Five Heads Park outfit in the 14th minute.

Horndean then fell to a 3-0 defeat at Bemerton Heath Harlequins on Saturday afternoon in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.

Robbie Matthews (2) and Jack Slade scored the goals which gave Bemerton the three points.
