WHOEVER takes charge of Petersfield Town for the rest of the season faces two quick tests in the coming week.

Southern League fixtures keep on coming for the Rams, with a trip to Kempston Rovers this Saturday (3pm).

Petersfield then host Egham Town in Division 1 Central at Love Lane next Tuesday night (7.45pm).

Petersfield’s fate in terms of where they will finish in the Division 1 Central table has almost been decided now.

The Rams are 15 points behind second from bottom Histon and 20 behind third from bottom Aylesbury – and safety.

They have ten league games remaining.
