LISS Athletic’s new coaching team have got off to a dream start after winning their first match in charge.

Gary Lines and Paul Marsh are the new coaching staff for Liss’ first team, and they got their reign under way with a 3-1 victory at home to Wey Valley in the second round of the Aldershot Intermediate Cup on Saturday.

Alfie Fisher, Mark Carrington and Mazen Youseff scored the goals which sealed Liss’ place in the next round.

AFC Petersfield lost 1-0 at Headley United Reserves in the Aldershot Intermediate Cup on Saturday.
