ALRESFORD Town beat Newport IOW 3-0 last Tuesday night to pick up three points in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.

Sam Burt broke the deadlock for the Magpies in the third minute, and David Ompreon doubled Alresford’s advantage when he scored on 16 minutes.

Adam Cripps completed the scoring when he made it 3-0 to the Magpies in the 90th minute.
