LISS Athletic are in seventh place in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after a comprehensive 10-2 win at home to Hedge End Rangers on Saturday.
Connor Read broke the deadlock for the visitors in the first minute, but Joshua Benfield equalised for Liss on six minutes.
J Benfield then scored his second of the match in the tenth minute, and David Harding made it 3-1 to Liss on 14 minutes.
J Benfield completed his hat-trick in the 18th minute, and he then scored his fourth of the match on 31 minutes.
Harding made it 6-1 in the 45th minute, and Daniel Sharpe scored Liss’ seventh goal of the afternoon on 62 minutes.
Joshua Ball scored Hedge End’s second goal, but Callum Benfield scored the home side’s eighth and J Benfield completed the scoring when he scored Liss’ ninth and his sixth goal of the match.
