Farnham Town have provided an update on a number of first-team players who are currently out injured.
Keane Anderson underwent successful reconstructive surgery on August 12, following the knee injury he suffered in the pre-season friendly against Badshot Lea, and has entered the early stages of his recovery process.
Anderson will continue to work alongside Farnham’s head of medical, Gary Lewis, and head of performance, David Givens, with his recovery and rehabilitation. He is expected to be out for several months.
Mat Mackenzie underwent shoulder surgery following Farnham’s Southern League Premier South play-off final win against Gloucester City to repair an issue that had been lingering since before he joined the club.
Mackenzie’s recovery has limited his competitive involvement throughout pre-season and into the 2026-27 campaign, but he has trained with the squad throughout the summer.
Mackenzie has now been medically cleared to resume contact activity after completing late-stage return-to-play testing, and he is now available for selection.
Summer signing Aaron Kuhl is yet to make his Farnham Town debut since his arrival from Farnborough. Kuhl broke his leg against Worthing just over a year ago, which ruled him out for the whole 2025-26 season.
Kuhl’s been present throughout pre-season at Farnham, mostly doing individual work alongside conditioning drills. He recently underwent a small, keyhole procedure on his surgically repaired leg and is recovering from that.
Kuhl is expected to return to training in early September and firmly step-up his efforts to make a full-time return to action later in the autumn.
Defender Dan Bayliss sustained an Achilles injury during the first half of Farnham’s pre-season friendly against Yeovil Town and remains on the sidelines.
Bayliss has entered the middle stages of his rehabilitation, with a view to being back available for selection in September.
