ALRESFORD Town remain in fifth place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after a stunning 5-1 win at Bashley last night.

Sam Burt gave the Magpies the lead, and an own goal doubled Alresford’s lead before half time.

Scott Munro scored Alresford’s third, and Aaron Blaxall then made it 4-0 to the visitors.

Harry McGrath pulled a goal back for the hosts, but Blaxall scored his second late on to make it 5-1.
