PETERSFIELD Town have re-signed former title winner Matt Shortt.

The goalkeeper was a vital part of the Petersfield team which won the Wessex Division 1 title in the 2013-14 season and the Wessex Premier Division title in the 2014-15 season.

The Rams have also signed Luke Edwards from Fareham Town.

Rams boss Mark Summerhill said: “Matt has come in as cover for Nick Hall for a couple of weeks.

“Nick is still with us but he has a couple of appointments.

“Luke will give us defensive cover and he can play anywhere across the back four.”
