ALRESFORD Town enjoyed an excellent week with two wins from two matches.
The Magpies started their week with a 5-1 win at home to King’s Somborne in the semi finals of the Andover Open Cup last Tuesday night.
Geoff Dunn (2), Louis Russell, Sam Burt and Dan Strange scored Alresford’s goals.
The Magpies then won 3-2 away at Cowes Sports on Saturday in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.
John McKie gave Cowes the lead, but goals from Crossley Lema and Ben White put Alresford 2-1 up. Gareth Bricknell equalised for the hosts, but Strange made it 3-2.
