Craig Hunt gave the visitors the lead in the 16th minute, and he made it 2-0 on 33 minutes. Harry Jackson pulled a goal back for the Deans in the 46th minute.
Horndean also lost 6-0 at Sholing in the second round of the Russell Cotes Cup on Thursday night.
