CLANFIELD are in eighth place in the Puma Engineering Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after drawing 2-2 against East Hampshire rivals Liss Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

Mike Newman gave the home side the lead in the 31st minute, but Dan Sharpe equalised for Liss on 37 minutes.

Newman scored his second of the game in the 51st minute to regain the lead for Clanfield, but David Harding scored on 80 minutes to rescue a point for the visitors.

Liss are now in ninth place in the league table.
