EAST Hampshire’s Wessex League sides will have to hit the road in search of FA Cup glory.

Horndean and Alresford Town both face trips in the extra preliminary round stage on August 6.

Horndean travel to Bashley, who have been relegated from the Southern League into the Wessex Premier Division, and Alresford Town travel to Western League Premier Division side Bridport.

If they win those ties, Alresford will face a trip to Southern League Division 1 South and West outfit Wimborne Town and Horndean would host Wessex Premier Division teams Bournemouth or Sholing in the preliminary round on August 20.
