HORNDEAN continued their good form with an excellent 2-0 win at league leaders Alresford Town in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division on Saturday.

Goals from Greg Peel and Connor Duffin gave the Five Heads Park outfit the three points.

Horndean manager Michael Birmingham said: “It’s the first time we’ve gelled as a team for 90 minutes this season.

“We changed our shape for the game and we went with a gameplan and were the better side.

“Connor scored a wonderful goal and I was really pleased for him.

“We had to be at our best to get the result.”
