HORNDEAN are in 11th place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after falling to a narrow 2-1 defeat at Team Solent on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts opened the scoring at Test Park, and then doubled their advantage to go 2-0 up.

Mark Smith pulled a goal back for the Deans, but the Five Heads Park outfit were unable to find an equaliser as they slipped to defeat.
