HORNDEAN produced a foursome performance as they swept aside Bournemouth 4-1 in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division at Five Heads Park on Saturday.

The Deans raced into a 3-0 lead at half time thanks to goals from Jack Maloney and Alfie Lis (2).

Bobby Scott scored Horndean’s fourth, before Dan Brennan pulled a goal back for the visitors.

Horndean manager Michael Birmingham said: “We scored three good goals in the first half, but the game petered out in the second half.”
