HORNDEAN exited the FA Cup with a 3-2 defeat at Bostik League Premier Division outfit Margate in the First Qualifying Round on Saturday.

Alfie Lis gave the Deans the lead, but Frannie Collin equalised for the home side. Joe Taylor gave Margate the lead in the second half, and Taylor scored his second to make it 3-1. Jack Maloney pulled a goal back for Horndean to make it 3-2.

Alresford Town drew 0-0 at home to Fareham Town in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division on Saturday.
