HORNDEAN slipped to defeat in the first game of the post-Dave Carter era, as they lost 3-1 at Team Solent on Saturday.

Carter left the Deans to take up the managerial vacancy at Moneyfields. Carter’s last game in charge was the 3-1 win at Longwell Green Sports in the FA Vase last Tuesday night. Robbie Tambling and Dan Woodward (2) scored for the Deans, who will now host Barnstaple Town in the first round.
