Sholing 2 Horndean 0: HORNDEAN slipped to third place in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division after losing at fellow high-fliers Sholing on Saturday.

The damage was done in the first half as Marvin McLean gave the Boatmen the lead on 11 minutes. Daniel Mason doubled Sholing’s advantage when he made it 2-0 in the 40th minute, and the Deans were unable to find a way back into the game.
