HORNDEAN finished their Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division campaign with a 3-1 win at home to Bashley on Saturday afternoon.

Mark Smith’s brace gave the Deans a 2-0 lead, before Matthew Vining pulled a goal back for the visitors. Smith then completed his hat-trick to seal the win for Horndean.

The Five Heads Park outfit finished the season in sixth place in the league table, with 76 points from 42 matches.
